Dad and I will be working on getting the photos in a more accessible format for everyone when I travel out there this summer.

Childhood Memories

Mike just called to let me know that (according to his Cthulu-a-day calender), my favorite childhood program, The A-Team, debuted on this date in 1983.

Now, I know I missed at least the first two episodes, as the pilot had someone else cast as Face. But I think I saw every other episode, and I know I was upset when it was cancelled five years in. And now, the glory of technology allows me to relive these memories on DVD.

I think watching this program just fed into the whole underdog/crusader mentality that defines my existance. I mean, they were trying to make things better one hour at a time. I just don't do it with guns and garbage bags.
